How will I make more profits with pull tabs?
Pull tabs are fast becoming a big business. Moreover, some bingo operators and hall managers report selling as many as 300 games per month.

Players love these innovative games. They are fun, fast and simple to play. Players know instantly if they have won, and how much they have won. To make pull tabs profitable in you hall or organization, you must promote them.

Suggestions:

  • Do point of purchase advertising.
  • Put up flares, flyers and posters.
  • Place your pull tabs where they will be seen; Somewhere near the front door.
  • Talk to your customers, find out what they like about your games and what they dislike.
  • If your customer would like for you to carry a certain game, ORDER IT!
  • Offer a variety of games.
  • Make sure the games offer big wins, such as $100 to $500 (Check your state regulations.)
  • Whenever possible use floor workers to sell your games.
  • Make a poster and display the total prizes to be paid out in total prizes per night.
  • Display the names of players that have won big payouts.
  • Show funds raised by pull tab sales and which charity they are being given to.
  • Train your volunteers to pay out in small bills instead of large ones.
  • Players should see frequent winners and kept busy with replays.
  • Rotate your selection of tickets regularly.
  • New deals always sell faster than deals with some winners already redeemed. Store a slower moving deal and bring it back at a later date.
  • Study your players watch to see how they spend their money. Are they more likely to buy more tabs at $1.50, or $.25 a play? Some players have a hard time spending that dollar bill and feel more comfortable about spending fifty to twenty five cents at a time.
  • Play along with the pull tab themes - if a tab has a catchy name such as "Christmas Cash", call out, "Get your Christmas cash here!"
